I purchased this item for my daughter, who lives in Nepal. She wanted a small 12 volt electric blanket to use when seated in her room. I have not tried out the Thermo Pet Throw myself, but have sent it to her. When I hear how it works in her mountain home, I will let you know.

I am disapointed with this blanket. I have 6 pets ,and none of them are attracted to this. I wanted this for my aging English Bulldog,she prefers a regular blanket.I would have liked it to be warmer or have heat adjustments ,like a humans electric blanket.

I was not expecting much from this item after reading the reviews, but the one reviewer who can’t say much is sure liking it with the outside temperature in the low 30s outside. I set it on top of a thermerest dog cushion and with a thin blanket on top of the electric blanket. I wasn’t impressed by the heat and that you have to lay on it to feel the heat, but my dogs spend lot more time on it than before the electric blanket. I did not feel as bad leaving for work this morning (23 degrees) and seeing them laying down on the blanket. The ones who use it seem to spend a lot of time on it so I’d say it is doing the job intended.

This is a great dog blanket. It keeps them warm at night, so they don’t jump on my bed and wake me up at 2am. Amazon’s price is great, I bought my first one at a small pet store and got ripped off. Now I have one for each dog, and it’s been the best thing I ever bought for them.
